YOUR CHALLENGE Week #3: “Create an Amazing Tomorrow…Today!”
Hi Friends, Welcome Back!
Over the last few weeks you’ve focused on ‘lightening-up’- by having more fun and by becoming aware of and breaking old ineffective thought patterns that have held you prisoner to useless worry, anxiety and stress.
Now it’s time to construct your ideal future.
If you can imagine it daily using all 6 senses, it is likely to become reality. You will literally begin to download your vision over the coming months, just as you know how to pull-down stored information from the cloud. All that is required is to see it, envision it, and want it.
Here’s how: What do I do?
(Day 1)
1. Get Perspective:
- First scan your ‘past’: What have you loved and not loved about it?
- Now scan your ‘present’ life: What’s to keep and what’s to chuck or change?
- How would you like ’tomorrow’ to look? How different would it be?
2. Get Clarity
- Think like a movie script writer : Create an ideal future for yourself. Get specific.
- Where are you?
- What are you doing?
- What do your relationships look like?
- What’s your environment?
- What are you wearing?
- Where do you live, play and work?
- How are you feeling emotionally?
- What are you doing to achieve that feeling?
(Day 2-7)
3. Get Active
- Make it real
- Experiment- think like an actor
- Walk through each day as if you ARE the FUTURE YOU
- Think, behave and speak as the new you
- Do things – Take small, practical steps toward you vision
- Think: ‘If I were to reverse engineer where I am in my vision, what things did I do to get there?”
